Christ Will Judge by Love Actions

Christ has said to his disciples:

“But when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory, аnd before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as the shepherd separateth the sheep from the goats; аnd he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or athirst, and gave thee drink? And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? And when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry, and ye did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Parent’s Love

One of specific forms of love to the neighbour is parent’s love to their children. This love is deep in man’s heart.

Old Testament stories are simple, but they transmit the important teaching. They show in the description of the man’s creation in the Book of Genesis that the man was created after the image God, in addition, the common nature of the man and woman is stressed and they also place an emphasis on the God’s gift of fertility which allows people and other living creatures give life and propagate. In further description they present an excellent unity of the man and woman in the matrimony. Here they don’t say about parents, only if we think about the Creator, because He is in this story the example of love and care in relation to those who He has created. He creates for the man the garden, provides it with water and food, gives the man a life partner. But God gives also the man tasks to till the garden, puts for him restrictions in a form of a ban to eat fruits from one tree. Here we see the example of mature parents, where there is not only care for children, but there are restrictions and demands.

God as «Father» experiences also disobedience of «their children» who follow the voice of tempting snake and reject God’s love and kindness. The god-inspired author shows as one of consequences of the original sin «multiplied sorrow during the pregnancy» and «birth of children in pain». Consequently, the author thought, that «originally» was differently, that parenthood in God’s plans didn’t have the «vice» of sorrow and suffering.

Angel of the Lord Proclaims Mary…

Angel sent by God talks Mary — young unknown Israeli girl — unusual news: God in a special way takes an interest in Her life, and respecting the man’s freedom, asks if She would like to take part in His divine plan of human salvation. We note, that God foreknew this meeting in His primordial foreknowledge, we know about it from the Old Testament.

This event is very exiting and, tell the truth, is out of human imagination. Who are we? Who is a man for the God of Heaven, the Creator of the Universe, that we are so important for Him, that He loves us, sinners? Then everything was going on with the Holy Ghost.

But in this situation we also see a man full of fear. Such a person is selected by God Mary, Who thanks to the absolute acceptance which She gave God and also as a result of life with faith according to the teaching of the church was taken later with Her soul and body in the heavenly glory. Mary’s husband Joseph was also not free from fear. As a man he was also enveloped in supernatural things…

We become witnesses of Gods hurry. God wants to talk His message to the man, to convince him of His great love. That’s why information which we receive on the Annunciation is very important; it is difficult for a man to accept it: how much God must love us, if He decided to devote His Son to the future of the whole humanity…

Let our Parishes Rise!

The Resurrection is a sign of alive God. From the Book of Exodus we know that God Yahweh answered Moses’ question about the name: «I AM THAT WHICH I AM» (Exodus 3, 14). For the God’s nature is characteristic that He is, He lives. God’s life showed Himself very expressively in the fact of Jesus Christ Resurrection. God’s Son rose and He is with us, lives. He always lives. This great truth and gladness of the Resurrection is preached now in the Christian world, through it appears God’s omnipotence, His omnipotence of death, sin, our weakness. Rosen Jesus Christ is the greatest source of our inspiration, because He rose, lives, is together with us.

Jesus Christ Resurrection brings us to different reflections, among other things to thinking about words of Saint Pavel: «and if there be no rising again of dead persons, neither hath Christ risen; and if Christ hath not risen, then void [is] our preaching, and void also your faith» (I. Corinthians 15, 14). Our faith in Him as God’s Son, as promised Messiah Which did his mission for the humanity is based on Jesus Christ Resurrection. We can remember Jesus words that He said to Nicodemus and Saint John wrote them: «for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during» (John 3, 16). God gave us the Son, Jesus Christ in order that we have our life… Not only a mortal life which ends in the natural way— Christ led us to the eternity. He convinces us that there are many abodes in His Father’s hose. This figurative statement is very expressive. It admonishes us in our faith, opens our hearts not only for the Christian gladness in our life, but for the faith in the eternity.
